Skillet and Nine Lashes CDs available tonight!

Last week we had John Cooper of Skillet on to talk about the band's new CD "Awake" and this week we want to give you the chance to win your very own copy! But, at the risk of sounding like a Ginsu knife commercial, wait there's more! We're going to make it a prize pack by including a copy of "Escape" from the new band Nine Lashes who will be on next week's XR! If you're free tonight, come out to Firehouse Ministries in Mount Airy around 6:30 and join me as I host a CD Release party with my good friends in Miracle Made before tuning in to XR at 10pm. Also, tomorrow night Worship Alive, our in-studio guests from a couple of weeks back will be putting on a free event (with food) at Haymore Memorial Baptist Church in Mount Airy for local and area youth. Go and have a good time while worshiping our great God and tell them that you heard about it on Crossroad Radio!
Good things are happening in September on XR. I've already mentioned Nine Lashes. September also brings us Pillar, Thousand Foot Krutch and Hawk Nelson. And on the 11th, Runaway City will be joining us live in the studio. If you haven't heard of Runaway City maybe you've heard of some of the bands they used to be a part of - Chasing Daylight, Fighting Instinct, and Layden - all of which have been in the XR studio with us at some point. So we know the guys and know they're all about bringing you great music with a focus on Christ. And their new stuff is incredible. Be sure to check it out.
